Son's headlight bulb burned out. Easy to replace, right? Noooooooooooo! We have to take the bumper off, I'm told. Googled to find out and see where the front wheel needs to be taken off! $30 bulb, two hours of labor and dealer says $249!
After mentioning my daughter's last experience here - she was told she needed a $3500 head gasket job that, elsewhere, was found to be a $300 repair for something else - the dealer found a way to replace the bulb by removing the tire. Hmmm. Just one hour of labor. I did find out that another car I was interested in also requires the same pricey process. Guess I won't buy either in the future. Altima and 350/370Z. I like my Chevy more and more.
